Last summer I decided to "man up" and get a job to stop NEETing.

Well one year later my life did not improve at all, but actually got worse. Sure number in the bank goes up, but just because I never have time to spend it. My health has been decimated, this is easily the most unhealthy I've ever been as an adult. Now I get why wagies are constantly ill.

I didn't have much of a social life before, but now it simply doesn't exist. I got more pussy as a NEET, I haven't had sex since New Years party. I truly believe women would rather have a guy who is broke but able to spend time with them whenever rather than a wagie that has to always work or end the night early so as "not to be tired" for work the next day. In my experience being a M-F 9-5 wagie disgusts them on a deep primal level, it doesn't matter how much you make.

In the end, I tried to do the "right thing" but this is a hamster wheel to nowhere. I'm done. I'm moving back to my parents property and will just take care of chickens and sell stuff on eBay or something. none of this is worth it at all, and now no one can say I didn't at least try

Is trying even worth it anymore? I went to uni for a useless degree, then covid hit and I got depressed and didn't take the vax. Lets take many near minimum wage employees.
Car costs have skyrocketed and are less reliable. Insurance, repairs, gas, tires, payments. The first 2-3 hours a day just pay for transportation to and from work.
Living 45 min away from employment to have something affordable with other people since anything near most employment is expensive. Many jobs creeped full time beyond 8 hours to 9+ a day and/or require an extra day a week. Mandatory overtime.
Or they are well below full time.
This means they can do all the shopping, errands, laundry, on their one or two days off. They need to go to bed within 5 hours or will be too tired the next day. Around an hour of that is driving. Some is cooking, bathing getting the exercise to be fit and healthy. Most jobs require standing all day except for a half hour break, or sitting all day giving you diabetes. So feet are stiff and lock up the first time you sit down to catch your breathe. Day ruined if they have any appointments for anything in life since that means no unwinding that day.
Every minor salary increase just means they qualify for less assistance for healthcare or something so barely makes a difference.
Not enough time to keep a relationship healthy unless that is their primary focus.
Recreation and mental stimulation or no divorce (if they found enough time to meet someone they even like), pick one.
So boring without cool hobbies or interests beyond work that require time and also low income so they just give the ick to women.
Work burns through clothes, vehicle, and most things they buy. The little extra they can get cool toys with just results in those toys sitting at home unused most of the time.
This schedule leaves little time to improve or gain new skills.

Ever since losing my business in the lockdowns I've been in this wagie groundhog day hell.

Most people who get hired quit after the first day because either they only applied to keep their welfare or can't get through the humiliation ritual that is corporate training modules.
When I first started they also had three to four people working per shift most of the time.
