What is the proof that he was a Republican? Even if an alleged roommate stated as such I have no information that his roommate actually said that or reason to believe his roommate is telling the truth because no evidence has been posted outside of random tweets making that claim. Compared to publicly verifiable employment that he was a Democratic affiliate on multiple occasions combined with both evidence left in his car and the timing of the attack (victim voted with Republicans on the budget bill against Democrat wishes).
