Iranian opposition is largely neutral on the question of Israel but when they're firing rockets at their country(and they fired first) they literally have to be traitors to not line up behind the regime. its different because Iran has different factions and current government was basically installed by US so there are groups who dont like it, in Russia, Putin came to power by himself and either integrated powerful people into his government or got rid of them. While not certain, I believe coup in Iran is possible, they just recently did one in Syria.
