With big government... suddenly your tax dollars are going overseas to protect gay sex in boswana. Suddenly Karens are your municipal elected officials. Suddenly you have sub saharan africans as your neighbors. This is all because governments get bigger and decide that you living your life as a normal human being isn't acceptable anymore. Suddenly it's wrong to date below your age, but somehow it's okay to transition children and give them sex changes. The government will be sure to tell you all of these things, and force them into your life via education and targeted campaigns.
