Israel wants some 'bunker buster' bombs from the US. It seems Iran's Qom mountain enrichment facility is too deep for other bombs. The problem is Israel doesn't have a jet that can carry it..

No bomb can go through hundreds of meters or even a kilometer of granite rock. That bomb is just a toy. Its basically a steel/other hard metal arrow that falls with some tnt.

If a bunker is 50-100 meters under dirt it eill work but not granite or other hard mountain rocks.

Usa has its bases in Nevada, Utah, New Mexico also under likely upto a mile of rock and no bombs work there.

Nasrallah was only at a depth of maybe 30-40 meters and under normal dirt.

If you have stuff under hard rock, maybe at depth of 500-1000 meters you need to drop like 500 of these on a small area and hope the secret base is exactly there.

But bases can be in the sizes of city blocks and go all around the place in tunnels like seen in this old declassified mountain base sketch (from a book called "Underground Bases and Tunnels: What Is the Government Trying to Hide?

Usa was planning and building bases at 4000 feet/4000 meters already 60 years ago so Iran likely has bases atleast in the "hundreds of meters" depth level or its a africa tier country.

Usa,China and Russia have these big bases, im bot sure about Iran but theoretically if they havent been lazy they could have similar bases but not that many.

Russia, China, Usa have been theorized to have these bases and bunkers in so many numbers that they could host upto few million people.

Few bases at distances of 50 kilometers here and there connected by a train and its quite hard to take them out.
