I was thinking the same thing. Obviously this was his personal birthday parade and the army aniversary was just a coincidence. If he was really looking to celebrate the army he would have held some medal award ceremony or paid respects at some fallen soldier monument, Arlington cemetery or something like that.
You don't need to be a leftist to be mildly insulted by orders to parade for an obese boomer's birthday. The lack of rehearsal seemed deliberate.
