>>507470741The interests themselves are secondary. If you are passionate about something, you can sell somebody on basically everything. Most people are NPCs, but at their core, people deeply want adventure and a break from the routine. You can give them that, even if you talk about something mundane like your garden or your stamp collection. The standards for what is interesting these days are so low, that even if you are slightly above average, you are already doing a better job than the guy who only knows how to talk about capeshit, his car and the big game.
If you are truly serious about stepping up your charisma game, I would suggest reading 1 book in each subject, so you can know a little bit about everything. You will be shocked after a few months how you find connections in everything and are able to pepper in extremely interesting and fascinating things into your conversations that most normies would never associate with the current subject. Then of course the next layer is to do this tastefully and not pretentiously, i.e. not quoting Shakespeare to sound smart.
