Inflation is the rate at which prices increase.
If it is positive. Prices are going to increase.
When you get communists in power and inflation goes insane like with Argentina and Venezuela it takes time to return back to "normal" and is still a problem well after they've been removed.

This is why you should always resist communist and left wing parties. Something my own country is going to find out first hand.
