"Racism" is an unhelpful term, because it implies that there are multiple races of people still alive today. There aren't.

The other non-human races that used to exist alongside Homo sapiens died out tens of thousands of years ago, leaving only the Human Race left.

What most people refer to as "races" in colloquial verbiage are not what biologists consider to be biological races.

"Ethnic demes" are a more scientific term to differentiate people from others with their own regional adaptations around the world.
