We've found exactly ZERO Dyson constructs for example. There is exactly ZERO evidence for Von Neumann probes. There are no universal observations of AI technological "grey goo".
Simulation theory is a techno-futurists extrapolation of "well because we can X, they must be Y" but Y does not appear to be observable nor measurable in our current scenario. There's just a few weird fringe ideas in quantum mechanics that suggest a certain level of material support for simulation theory.
