Chiang Kai-shek is arguably post WW2 China's greatest leader. The high standard of living and business success of towns like Taipei and Kaohsiung is the envy of the rest of China. Chiang's model is what a future reunified China will look like.

A recent piece published in the Leh Post interviewed Colonel Govinder Singh of the Indian 5th regiment about the conflict:
