Let's salvage this thread and actually have a more in depth look into the differences between these similar people groups.

When it comes to the Germanic peoples, we find a focus on the individual that is far less pronounced among the others. Almost everything is influenced by this. It is no coincidence that the Germanic peoples are overwhelmingly Protestant, for the Protestant interpretation of Christianity has a focus on a personal relationship with God, and a personal journey of faith. In Britain there has always been this desire for 'fair play', keeping things 'cricket', and this is the root of meritocratic ideologies. It can also be used to manipulate them, which is ideas like 'racism' or 'sexism' fared so well, because there were true aspects of 'unfairness'; even if they were massively exaggerated, often fabricated, and those who bring up such grievances never have any desire to reciprocate any kindness or respect granted them.

When it comes to Latins, their lack of concern for purity, for hypocrisy, and for the individual becomes apparent and theirs are lands rife with corruption. The manifestation of their Christian beliefs is focused not on a personal relationship with God, but on following rites and rituals passed down to them, even where these rites and rituals have been denounced as displeasing in the Holy Bible.

Theirs is a sad history; yet hilariously what was once a great weakness has worked well for them today, as their refusal to co-operate with anyone or anything has made them largely impervious to cultural infiltration.
