I remember when my country had about 2/3 the population it has now and it was comfy. There was far less traffic. Places where there is only strip malls used to be forests and corn fields. The parks were cleaner, there wasn't any graffiti. Teenagers could get a job in the summer selling ice cream or flipping burgers and purchase an automobile and a few years later purchase a home.
