I'm willing to work, they just aren't compensating appropriately anymore. The compensation they offer isn't competing with the cost of living.

I would bust my ass if it meant there was a clear pathway to success but it's gotten to the point now where they have converted academia into a commercialized scamming outlet and trades aren't able to offer appropriate compensation, and even if they did, they wouldn't be able to keep pace with inflation anyways so in either case you'd be throwing your life away to try and run faster on a track which is increasing in length faster than you're able to compete with.

It makes more sense to go on neetbucks because it keeps pace with inflation than it does to stay employed and be at the mercy of whenever they decide to raise minimum wage.

Yeah I don't do the online assessments anymore. I politely refuse them citing unpaid labor. Reason being is I have like 5 interviews to go for, and they all want this assessment done, so a business which is willing to overlook the assessment OR pay for the cost of the labor to perform it has a huge hiring advantage over businesses that don't.

If they absolutely force it, I will intentionally score as low as possible to invalidate the results so they can't sell it to marketers and profit off of it or use it in infer anything about my performance one way or another.

If they are willing to put up even a $25 gift card or something, even if it's for that business i'd be more apt to engage with them but yeah. No more free labor unless there's compensation involved

If these retards paid their employees even half as much as they paid themselves they'd have access to an endless supply of good laborers, minds, etc. The issue is and always has been wages. I know baking cakes is hardly the same as working on cars, but Walmart/SAMs only wants to pay TOPS $17 an hour for cake decorating. Sure some can self teach but generally you have to obtain some kind of training for that. It isn’t an entry-level skill by any means. And, not everybody can do it. You can. You can't really see it in the photo, but on the right side there's a service desk and a door into the main store, straight into the automotive department. They even have a small waiting room if you want.
As you're walking around shopping, they send you text updates for when service starts and when your vehicle is ready. You can check out any new purchases right there and walk right to your vehicle.
I honestly was impressed with the process. Now I just hope my wheels don't fall off, although they included a notice at the bottom of the service receipt to come in and have them re-torqued for free after 50 miles.
