>>507675247Jews have no religious motivation to destroy other nations provided they're left alone.
The fulfillment of their prophecy is to live in Israel and get their temple back that's pretty much it. For most of them. They don't really dwell on any "last days" or anything. They have Messianic prophecies but most don't really care if they ever happen they just want to live in Israel.
Islamic eschatology on the other hand, they want the last day because that's when the resurrection will happen. Jews don't really dwell on the resurrection, they even forbid themselves reading the book of Daniel claiming it's sealed, so they don't read it, it's one of the big prophetic books of the old testament. Christians read it, Jews don't.
But Muslims have their own anti-parallel version of Christian eschatology where a guy that sounds a hell of a lot like the Christian Anti-christ is their Mahdi and their version of Jesus (which sounds a lot like the Christian "false prophet" in Revelation) that is going to conquer the world and kill all the Jews and Christians.
and only after all the Jews are killed will the resurrection happen.
So to Muslims, killing Jews is hastening the resurrection, and if they die as martyrs they just get better rewards and they'll get resurrected anyway.
Christianity also glorifies martyrs but the spin is, you aren't a martyr if you take up weapons and attack people "those who live by the sword die by the sword" and it's not a good thing. Martyrs in Christianity are peaceful people who get snagged by authorities and EXECUTED for their faith. Not killed in battle, EXECUTED.
Christians aren't going to nuke anyone for their eschatology, neither are Jews... but Muslims? absolutely since their eschatology involves killing Jews and Christians.
and Christian Eschatology involves Jews and Christians being persecuted and killed by Antichrist.
so yeah, anti-parallel.
