Israel isn't popular here, but there are big Jewish populations in a couple cities, and obviously they are pro Israel. Canadians generally don't have much connection to Israel though. It's not like in the US with all the propaganda about "muh greatest ally". We have that connection with the US though, or did until recently

Iran is defending itself, does not have a nuke despite decades of Israel saying "just 2 weeks", has never attacked or subverted the West unlike Israel, never funded groups that attacked or subverted the West unlike Israel, never talked about nuking the West or drafted an official plan to do it unlike Israel, and its ideal scenario is keeping to itself unlike Israel.

I can't seem to find it but there was a documentary where they interview one of the survivors of the King David hotel bombing. Not only was she widowed but if I recall correctly even had her children died when they blew up the day care. The documentary then swaps to part of an interview one of the not just free but celebrated perpetrators for comment on the widow's question of why so many innocent people had to die. The perp's response was to laugh and claim that anything is permissible to further the Israeli cause.
