>>507679892That's what I mean by chores. If she wants to tend to an herb garden and cook, that's fine with me. I planted a crop of organic garlic for my mother on her birthday and it's finally coming time to harvest. I'm going to look into how to cure/pickle/preserve them and make a planting board so she can continue her crop from this next year. Hopefully she picks a spot with a little better sun, but the garlic is looking pretty good in general. I think every variety I planted is going to come up by the end of the month just fine.
Only thing I'm worried about is that one section didn't get enough light and water and hasn't produced any scapes. Probably going to harvest a few of the others and surprise her with a scape pesto next weekend while I'm taking care of her dog. Thanks for reading my blog, and, you should grow your own garlic.
