Rome is still around. The Roman empire might have transitioned into the Catholic church but the Jewish empire was never a thing in the first place. By this Jews logic, the aboriginals of Australia who have survived 50 thousand years are God's chosen people and more significant than the Romans too. Again, Judaism is a religion not an empire and Rome never genocided or expelled the Jews. They killed and captured 3% of the population at the time to end the failed uprising. The remaining 97% remained and over the years left for Europe on their own accord, converted to Christianity and converted to islam over hundreds of years.
