They have nothing left to spare after 3+ years in Ukraine. A major consequence of that ongoing conflict has been the exhaustion of assets that have historically otherwise been used to influence the politics of their neighbours. Everything is busy or spent, which means there's nothing available to enforce their sphere of influence.

We've seen the consequences of this ongoing. It's not a coincidence that the systematic destruction of Iran's influence network in the middle east, the overthrowal of Syria's puppet regime and this new conflict with Iran all emerged suddenly in the past few years while Russia has been preoccupied. Their influence in the middle east is being dismantled and their allies there removed one by one.

At this point even if they eventually take Kyiv they will have lost more in the middle east than they would've gained in Ukraine.

Russia has successful influence operations by both Iran and Israel. just like Syria/Azerbaijan has successful influence operations by both Turkey and Israel. Of course there are countries that have exclusive influence operations by one single country like Yemen and Iran or Turkey and Qatar or Israel and UAE. But there are also countries that have two (2) and not one (1) influence operations that subverted them or turns them into allies. Russia is such a case.

Keep in mind Russia has a large class of Jewish oligarchs. Even though ethnic Russians still have a lot of power in Russia, there is still a significant and large class of Jewish oligarchs. Not all subverted countries have an exclusive jewish oligarch class like the United States or Germany. Some countries are mixed and have natives in the mix as well.

but yeah Russia was always an ally of Israel and you could clearly see this in the past few years. Even in the 2010s when they were supporting Assad there was a clear competition between Iran and Russia on who will exert the most influence in the country. Now Iran is kicked out of Syria but Russia is still there untouched.
