Why doesn't Russia just give Iran a couple dozen of their nukes?
They can spare some and they want a strong anti-US ally in the middle east don't they? Iran is facing oblivion right now.

The USA has been running a proxy war against Russia and Ukraine. We've said repeatedly tat we are not a participant in the war.
This is how we've kept Russia at arm's length and avoided triggering a larger fight. So now that the precedent has been set, why shouldn't Russia arm Iran, then use the same justification for why they're not an active participant?
Reviews our material to bog rush it down in a war they could have won much quicker, and obviously our reasoning is to overburden Russia and then take advantage of their overcommitment in Ukraine to exert more power in the region.
The same tactic can be applied by Russia in response to the United States engagement with Iran.
