Eh the explanation is actually easier. The results from therapy, are literally the same as talking to someone you trust. There is no statistical difference. All these people in Therapy, are unable to confide in someone they trust, and whom they see as normal.

Conservatives statistically have closer relationships with their friends and families, than leftists, and thus, they have people they can confide to, whom they trust.
