This is just marketing bullshit to try to attract more dumb investors. The technological progress from AI is not linear, it's asymptotic. AI cannot generate novel information, it can only transform existing information (usually with some "noise" degrading it). It will always be just a shitty transformation of the information that already exists on the internet.

They try to make us use it at work to reword things to fit into boxes that have character limits. It's literally never worked once. You tell it something needs to be 100 characters or less it gives you 120 characters.

The hilarious part is it often hallucinates wrong answers and just acts like it condensed the longform topic but if you mark it as "shortened with A.I.' no one's allowed to argue with it. This will eventually cause a ruckus down the line since they're getting charged out the ying yang for it.

Only God knows the future, but I think we'll see another 1-3 years of it being pushed hard while companies try to see if it can help them run a skeleton crew to maximize profit while the A.I. jews hike their prices sky high, then it will come crashing down as it starts causing massive problems, erodes brand integrity through false answers, and causes internal chaos when even company policy and communications start being wrong. Somewhere between having to put out a massive fire that costs real man hours entirely due to it messing up and the cost far eclipsing what it would cost to just hire a real human to do it will cause them to finally say it's not worth it and walk it back. By then the A.I. jews will have probably pumped and dumped off into the horizon.

I am impressed by how specific of questions I can type in a Google search now and get a highly specific response. I'd say AI has improved my research in that regard. But Google still sucks in other ways, like how hard it is to find remnants of the old internet, which has just been swept away and deleted. The old internet is just gone and dead, and yet it was still somehow better than this shit hole of algorithmic-fuckery we have now. Social media and dating sites are utterly useless now. But then again society itsself has gone to shit so that may be a symptom, but also the cause strangely enough

The ironic thing is all the individual parts are already here, we have
>robot humanoid bodies like boston dynamics
>extremely realistic chinese made silicone dolls
>ai chatbots like deepseek and chatgtp for communicating intellectually with the user
>credit card sized pc's like raspberry pi to hold all our preferences and commands and files and have it connect to the internet etc
the only thing is just mixing them all together in a way that is functional and mass produced enough to be cheap, were literally on the cliff edge of robot sex slave maids for every male on earth and its going to smack women in the face hard out of nowhere, infact we might not even get it because the jews dont want us to have good things thinking about it.

I watched the Nvidya ai keynote

Ai is basically the next tech tree, and while it seems pointless, so would showing the first motor to people, it's just a spinning wheel and on its own it's useless. But we have to wait for the next invention to arise.

Ai is essentially a software factory, that's the true purpose. We were paying blacksmiths good money to forge a hammer or gun by hand. Now we have factories that pump tools out infinitely faster and cheaper.
Coders and software development teams get paid big bucks to write code line by line millions of time. Now we will have an Ai tool that will fulfil this role infinitely faster.

So we are on the advent of Robotics, without Ai a human has to code every part of the robot just so it can stand. With Ai, a robot running a chatgpt software can analyze what it's seeing, connect the dots on how to pick something up, learn, in real time, how to better pick items up for future reference.

We already have robots doing work in factories, taxi drivers, and soon fast food.
In the next 10 years we will see robotics take over a new job field, it could be roofing, it could be lineman work, security guards.

They are desperate to get users to sign up and put data into the prompt that htey can then datamine to make better models. They're all out of data to train the models otherwise. Reminder that if you want to use AI, download Deepseek or Llama or something and use it offline. These models are acutally useful to assist you in programming. You just have to come up with a rough outline of the core logic of your program like a flow chart or UML. The AI will do the grunt work of programming the modules. This puts you lightyears ahead of autistic trolldevs and jeets who think that memorizing ten phone book sized manuals of the latest craptastic framework du jour makes them special.

a human brain can only do basic things without being taught and to learn new things, so just like with animals it has the basic things it needs to survive and nothing else. A LLM is basically the same, it learns how to do things and the larger the knowledge base the more variance there is in how it does things. It can also make mistakes and has flaws due to what the training is, so just like a human.
Anonymous (ID: rxVxLSZg) United Kingdom No.507838925 >>507839794 >>507840046

Of course it can. The human brain only relies on what it has learnt and reacts to that knowledge base, the memories. A LLM is the same, it is trained on datasets and reacts to whatever it is doing based on it's training. the larger the training set, the deeper the knowledge and the difference in it's results. The other thing of course is humans have massive difference in IQ levels and even then no matter the IQ level if the training, the learning isn't there it is pretty much useless. And then there is the concept that a LLM is being compared to the human brain which is pretty limited. No human brain can have the knowledge base a LLM can.

that's the public free version of "AI" and ironically it is using humans as guinea pigs to train from. As there can be a multitude of different AI models then it can be used for different situations. So you can have a LLM based on training from different IQ levels with all the flaws included. Imagine one based on just pol IQ, I don't think it would be that accurate but could be fun.

A human brain learns logic and reasoning, without that learning it cannot do it. An LLM can do the same. What you fail to realise is that LLM's are still in their infancy and are growing so fast that humans cannot even predict what will happen as it goes beyond what a human can predict. A LLM can have the ability to query it tho, the question is is it necessary to act like a human? A human queries things because it may not be correct. Like if it did a maths problem, it may well double check using a different method to proof the result, a LLM or even a calculator does not need to do that, it already knows the answer is correct because the answer has already been proofed. But yes a LLM can have the ability to query it's own answer, even humans don't query everything eve nif the answer is wrong, they just assume the answer is correct based on what they know. Another thing is a LLM could lie just like a human can, it is all about the data set and how it is trained.

The big tell with LLM's or "AI" is that fags like Elton John are basically wanting the LLM's to be stopped from using music as training without fags like Elton John getting credit - in other words money. The big joke is that fags like Elton John literally stole from other musicians, and have very little talent other than learning how to read music and play say the piano. Music is all based on notes, the way thay are arranged and how fast or slow they are played. But as for popular music it really is justy plagiarism, everyone copying other artists wit hslight variances.

Software development has massively improved. You never have to write documentation again, writing tests is a lot easier, let's say you want a list of something you can just export and copy paste some shit and ask chatgpt to format it how you want. It's mostly the menial stuff, but it's also good and catching edge cases and bugs. The main problem is that designing a proper codebase takes experience, and that's what a AI or a jeet can't do. They just copy paste 100 different functions that are almost identical.

Newborn infants don't even have logic, it has to be learnt and it is interactions in society where logic is formed. A LLM can simply be set up the same way, the question is do you even need logic based on human logic if the LLM data set already has the correct logic built in? LLM's are built for specific reasons and as they still in their early stages and are still building up massive data sets to learn from, the cascading knowledge from that grows and grows. If you have a LLM that has all of human knowledge in it and that knowledge can be accessed in a nanosecond, then logic is simply proofing against all the different opinions and then coming up with an answer that is the most logical - or accurate.

I can personally attest to the fact that what would have taken me a dozen hours to code before can be done with little to no errors in just a few prompts. Obviously it's not God so it can be (and will be) wrong here and there, and if you give it a real challenging task it might fall apart... just like Human programmers!

Now try using 10,000 of these things. Ok, there goes like half your work force. And just imagine how good this technology will be in 3 years alone, let alone 5, 10, and beyond.

Anyone who tries to argue that AI won't eventually take *at least* half of jobs are, frankly, either in denial or don't know a sufficient amount about the space to make a rough estimate of similar consequence.

It is like saying can a human know how to read or write a foreign language - especially one that does into even contain any of the letters in their own language. A human can certain spot similarities in words in French and English as they share a similar basis of how they were created. But there is no way someone not familiar with Chinese or Japanese know what is going on. Isn’t it weird how every AI project relies on nearly unlimited cash. Which they just so happen to take a percentage of? and that brings up a very important digital vs analog example:

i also use TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy)
i learned on an analog electron scope, focused the electron beam myself and took pictures, which i also developed
this gave me invaluable experience and insight into the tech and therefore into my sample prep and image resolution

later, students learned on only a digital EM, missing all of the important physical skills that can be learned from the analog version
(and the images from a digital scope are easier to manipulate for fraud, also)
this is what digital does, it replaces the actual HONED skills one possesses and turns them into a mediocre vassal for others
this is purposeful

the current tech trend is for citizens to not hold or own information or organize it or remember it
they also do not store it on their own computers, but in a foreign cloud
they only have instantaneous ACCESS to information
people are not being conditioned to retain info or organize it for themselves

tptb are now waiting for anyone with a high amount of intellect and knowledge to die off, then they will just be left with the malleable, dumbed-down 'instantaneous access' population that can't put two and two together

Sam Altman is an actual grifter. The tech boom was entirely driven on zero interest rates forcing capital into risky startup enterprises to see good returns rather than traditional investments.
99% of those startups never have and never will turn a profit and their entire business plan is designed around a high valuation “exit” aka getting bought by one of the massive conglomerates like Alphabet/Amazon/Microsoft who are just printing money.

humans learn by interaction with the real world, something thats not currated, monitored or even fact checked. You need physicality to understand the world around you and thus the world, by interacting with it, already teaches you.
now take a gay ass LLM, how does it learn? by getting input fed to it, input that has been digitized, currated and preferably fact checked. How is such an LLM able to reasons and comprehend anything that isnt based on these preprogrammed data sets ? it simply cant do it. Even if you give the LLM access to a physical robot body, its sensory inputs are also impeded by the shere fact that the signals can be faked or tempered with.
LLMs are glorified syntax analysers and dimwit gen xers like you are too fucking stupid and retarded to comprehend this when you try to argue "hurr durr muh super smart machine"

The way humans learn is simply just how it has been. There is actually zero logic to wanting to reproduce how a human carried out a task for a LLM to do the same thing. At the end of the day it is only the end result that matters, bot how it got to that answer. So to say "muh it didn't use human thinking to get to the answer" is pretty stupid, humans have to proof everything because it does not have the data set tha ta LLM can have. And of course this is all stupid because who is aying humans will be replaced with every task eventually? A LLM will get to point where a lot of human tasks are no longer needed to be done by humans because a human will be slowler, prone to mistakes and humans would be better suited to do things LLM's won't be designed for.

Human labor is actually far less expensive than people think. And machines are far more expensive.
People don’t understand that robots will need maintenance. Every few years they will start breaking down and need replacing. The companies that build them will have planned obsolescence built into their business models. They will become cheaper but less reliable until people wake up and say “you know we can just have Chang and Sanjeev do this for like $3 a day”

2-3x productivity boost in let's see here... two years? Versus 30x productivity boost in the 20th century.

Assuming even a LINEAR rate of improvement (it is almost guaranteed to be exponential), AI alone will be a greater productivity boost than ALL OF THE TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION AND POPULATION GROWTH OVER THE ENTIRE 20TH CENTURY.

I hate to seem rude and condescending but I'm done trying with you people. You either can't see the truth or willfully pull the wool over your eyes.

80% is atrocious anon. I work logistics as well. If your packages are uniform or a part of a known set you should be hitting 100%. Unless you deal with bulk postal mail - which is basically random - your system should be classifying and correctly sorting 100% of packages that are in the appropriate package. It’s why the whole job at an Amazon warehouse is to put stuff into the boxes. Because that box has a 100% sort rate.

Either you’re lying or your company is dogshit.

Already seeing diminishing returns. It’s gonna put a few code monkeys and email writers out of work. The end.
and the point was that despite all the productivity gains we made in the 20th century shit is actually getting noticably worse. Aside from a few inconsequential things like the camera in your smart phone and the frame rate of your TV almost everything is becoming lower quality shit from your clothes, to homes, to appliances, to vehicles that are increasingly made from flimsy plastic with a myriad of reliability issues due to all the new “safety” features. And you can’t even afford to get anything repaired anymore. It’s cheaper to just throw things away and buy new.
So clearly “productivity” is not the issue. We already produce way too much shit.
