Been married to one for almost 10years. Like all Viets, she grew up in a 3rd corrupt shithole. Like it or not, some 3rd world shitty behaviors and attitudes will become part of your life, which isn't always nice. Also, lots of Visa / permanent residency headaches.

I think if you could find one who was rational mentally, then yes, perhaps. But in my experience that is hard to come by. I dated a girl who was Vietnamese (born in USA but still spoke the language at home). She was great, intelligent and sexy, but she was also batshit insane. Constantly threatening to kill herself etc. We've been broken up for years but she had a kid with another dude and abandoned it and she still has extreme substance abuse issues and simply can't live a normal life.

I know she's an extreme case, but kinda put me off viet women desu. I think the reality of suffering under a brutal war has fucked the Vietnamese up for a couple generations. The millenial and zoomer vietnamese are often fucked up because their parents abused them heavily as a result of their war PTSD. I wouldn't be surprised if they are less crazy over in Vietnam/Asia as compared to US viets, but then that brings along a whole host of other issues dating a true foreigner. They are def fun to fuck though

I think Viet kieus (Overseas Viets as they call them in Viet Nam), are very different from vietnamese from Vietnam. I can speak for the real vietnamese, have a vietnamese wife: It really depends. If you are just a foreigner living here and don't speak the language you will have a bad time. But if you try to make an effort and learn the language and treat this country like any other, then people here can be extremely friendly. Really depends what type of person you are really, every lip has a pot as they say. The trashy girls go with trashy men, and then there's extremely pretty and inteligent girls that go with white guys that are just as handsome and inteligent. Some of the yellow fever loser white guy in asia memes are true for a reason, but they really don't apply to everyone realistically. For example, in english teacher circles, the meme is more real. In different things like martial arts, or some sort artistic creative fields etc, its a different story. And yes, vietnamese girls are on average way, way, way hotter than most european girls, and its because of the food, the lifestyle, and cultural things they got like taking care of their hair and staying slim and toned and have soft skin etc etc, its not genes so much but more about the way people is brought up here. Which is great, I wish back in my home european country women weren't as shitty. i love white girls, is just proportionally at a local level, 7/10 viet girl is leagues above a 9/10 girl in my hometown, easily. There's hotgirls in Europe sure, but the ratio is way way off compared to Viet.
