In elementary school we read Green Wave, in middle school we read Anne Frank's Diary, Boy in the Striped Pajamas, Elie Weisel's Night, and we watched the movie Boy in the Striped Pajamas as well.
It was a Catholic School.
I was also told I would've been accepted by Hitler because I was blonde, and told to feel bad about it.
Well anyways I was extremely unpopular in school, so that really felt like a sort of cruel joke.
But I think what really stood out to me was the laughably graphic content in the books.
