The Taliban "was defeated" and yet the USA lost. They lost trillions of dollars, they lost people, gear, a foot in the door in the region, e v e r y t h i n g.

The question is how much "WINNING" the USA can handle till the final that will kick them out while they win.
How much money this time? Money that other parts of the usa need? Make it great again? Start with doing something for the people who ARE the people. And not only them, the next generations. Good systems in food, Healthcare, education, travel/infrastructure, problems with migrants and obscure corrupt judicial systems, foreign influence and the lost of a united moral and ethical compass as one way for a cultural identity.
