it would be nice to see this "isreal" line properly discussed
my understanding is it is something that is very recent, only pushed onto christians in the last 60-80 years
iirc, christians have fought wars against jews and islams over the "holy land"

It doesn't even say it. It's God talking literally to Abraham. Israel isn't mentioned at all. God is making a covenant with Abraham.
Americans believe that because Gods promises were to Abraham and his descendants that it also applies to modern israel.
However the bible clearly states that this covenant ended with the death of Jesus whereby a new covenant or a new testament has overridden the old.

I will give you a very easy explanation that you can use to dismantle any pro kike Christian argument. When they quote the Old Testament (they always do) know that they have no idea what they're talking about because it is the OLD testament, as in not in use anymore, not relevant, useful for historical context etc. The New Testament is Christ's message and what all true Christians should follow. How the kikes managed to brainwash Baptists in bumfuck nowhere South USA to worship them, I have no idea. But anyone who actually reads the Bible understands that the Old Testament does not represent what we believe

Yeah but that is actually the main core of entire interview. Tucker handled it and asked the question well but it *needs to be pushed further* and not just on Cruz, all of these ziopoliticians.

What Tucker *OUGHT* to have asked/phrased:
>"Where in the United States Constitution does it say anything or is mentioned the state of Israel?"

the modern state of Israel not only has nothing whatsoever to do with the Old Testament it has *LESS THAN NOTHING* to do with America's Constitution or our republic and government.

The American political class really are a subservient bunch of brainwashed lunatics. The people of Jacob scattered, the people of modern day Israel are Canaanites, anyway, genetic tests prove this. But regardless, Americans are pussies and cucks for allowing this warmongering and bending over to Jewish interests. This will result in more Americans dead, broken and beaten and Jewish power increasingly unchallenged.

It only says that in American Protestant bibles. The line doesn’t even say Israel in other bibles. I believe it says those who bless Joshua, not even the Israelites, because being in genesis it was older than the Israelites. I’ve heard this line ham fisted so many times in American discussion, it’s wildly out of context, and the question of supporting the Israelites being the same as the modern government of Israel is an incredibly valid question, people get flustered when you press it. American Christians are just dumb retards who don’t even bother to learn their own religion

There’s no scriptural basis for supporting Israel. Every time Israel turned to foreign nations for help, God abandoned them. The whole point of them being “God’s people” was that God was supposed to be their ruler and protector…so if the United States tries to pretend that’s their job, they become “the disgusting thing causing desolation standing in a holy place” in the greater fulfilment of the prophecy at Matthew 24.

>brainwash Baptists in bumfuck nowhere South USA to worship them, I have no idea
Back in the 1960s and earlier most Americans—religious or not—didn't even know a country named 'Israel' actually existed. If you said that word to people back then, yeah some of the more religious/bible ones might've recognized it from scripture but beyond that: Blank stare.
Starting in the late 1970s there was the right wing Christian revival movement which went beyond merely the Protestant denominations but also into Catholicism, they snuck in—at various degrees and magnitude—elements of the 'holy zion' Scofield Bible from half a century earlier.
Now *all* of these conservative American evangelical and fundamentalist Christians "believe" that the modern state of Israel actually translates into and is directly connected to the modern post-1948 nation-state of Israel (some of the real whackjob subsects, such as the Christian Zionists, believe it directly connects to the book of Revelation, all the Jews are going to die etc.)

The other thing from 1980s onward that gained precedence was the Oded Yinon plan and wars for Greater Israel using the United States military. By the 1990s and Gulf War I it was pretty much ground into these American fundamentalist Christian skulls that "yeah we gotta fight in duh Middle East, for Israel y'know". And after 9/11 it's been total brainwashing, a lot of anons don't remember or didn't experience the environment in the United States from September 2001 to around 2005 (when serious doubts about what was happening in Iraq were no longer able to be ignored).

It's all for Israel, in their minds. Holy Zion, the blessed holy land muh Israel. And they go to church every Sunday with this, praying for the state of Israel.

Yes they are, American churches are a total fucking grift. It’s a rock concert with donations for trips to Africa. It’s why atheism is so popular in America. Because there is absolutely zero depth the the majority of churches, I’ve been to many in my spiritual journey, and every Protestant church in America is a South Park tier “I love you Jesus” rock band, then a “pastor” comes out for a bout ten minutes, tells a personal story, and then it’s just projected images of African children so you can sign up for a “mission trip”, which is a whole other load of dog shit. I really want to understand some better Protestant theology but everything in America is either crazy (like seventh day adventists and evangelicals) or just milquetoast nothing like Methodist and Baptists. This country is spiritually drained and the mega churches are unironically only shilling for Israel because there’s groups that pay them to do so. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen churches flying the Israeli flag, way before any of the shit pops off. It’s disgusting and stupid. I’ve been careful to read catholic and orthodox sources for theological purposes because anything in America is really not far off from the Righteous Gemstones. I went to a nondenominational for a while and they were generally pretty good, but even then I never felt the depth of understanding the message in the Bible that I was looking for and found elsewhere

Anon, I have noticed on /pol/ for many years that the religion discussions tend to be very detailed and adherent to how Christianity and its denominations evolved and developed. Maybe ? in Europe it's still clearly delineated but that's not the case here especially after the 1980s. (and, the U.S. has always had its unique brands of Christian sects/denominations)
What you must comprehend is that this 1980s-and-later brand of *American fundamentalist Christianity* (whether Protestant or Catholic) simply has been brainwashed to unite around the *modern state of Israel*
we have more than 50 million populace like this.
It is the *Main Base Of Support* for the state of Israel globally. (Not 'the Jews' it's the fundamentalist/evangelical Christians <--*THEY* are the main army of support for the state of Israel)
None of it has to do with any recognition of protestantism, the liturgical and denominational differences any more, here in the United States.
They've all been brainwashed with this Scofield Bible 'holy zion' slop.

>And they go to church every Sunday with this, praying for the state of Israel.
I had no idea this existed until I visited my wife's grandparents down in Texas. (For reference this was around the time Israel starting glassing Gaza) They invited us to come to their Baptist service with them and to my ultimate surprise the preacher said nothing about Christ and the New Testament, but instead he made a completely inaccurate connection between the Palestinians and a descendent of Cain and then got everyone to "Amen" the idea of "God's chosen people" wiping out Palestine. It was utterly baffling

Most Americans are going to church passively, they believe just physically being in the building is all they need, they don’t read the Bible, they may have a few out of context bits recognized from a sermon, but they genuinely don’t actually give a shit, yet they are very violently in support of it. It’s really not a meme or a joke, most Americans are viciously Christian while knowing almost nothing about their own faith beyond a couple Sunday school stories. It’s very easy to manipulate these people because they’re at church for the social benefits and not for any real spiritual means, their “praise” is the good feelings they get during the free rock concert, and that’s the entirety of their religion, just saying they love Jesus. But they don’t know him, they very clearly don’t
