What happened to them? most moved to the UK and USA and spent the last fourty years misleading westoids about what the situation is in Iran. that 'intelligence' will be the primary reason things don't go as well in this operation as expected for the American side.

Similar story in Afghanistan, socialists were modernising it and turning it into a secular state so the USA funnelled money and weapons to the most extremist sect of Saudi wahabist led mlitant's they could find so they could rage death destruction on the country, kill most of the socialists and turn Afghanistan into a hellish caliphate state.
