exodus was somewhat of a disappointment for me. the narrative segments on the train and interacting with the characters was amazing, genuine 10/10, but the story and level design were absolute dogshit. the most fun I had in the whole game was probably the big warehouse with the fish in the first level, and the beginning of the last level, which immediately goes to shit when you spend the climax of the game just killing stupid little worm things (to be fair the first game was guilty of this too)

No one here mentioned Fallout 3 yet. It was one of the best games ever made and it had a fully explorable city and underground subway system. I'm American and I think Fallout 3 is the best RPG ever made. Oblivion and Fallout New Vegas are really great too. New Vegas development was cut short and might have surpassed Fallout 3 if it had been developed 1 or 2 more years

Similar to how people visit nature, and leave their trash behind. What is a plastic cup to a squirrel, what is a book of matches to a deer? Some of them can be quite dangerous, like a discarded knife or poison. Now imagine an alien race so far advanced that the warped physics as we know it. Because FTL is still a myth. So the trash the aliens left behind were gravity wells that rip you apart, and other things. It also spawned a move called "Stalker", as well as the game. Here is the source.

Okay wait until you get to the end as any game you’re playing seems like the tit’s at first. Such is the nature of gaming.
Saying that Metro Exodus is one of the few games I ever finished - saying that as a life long avid gamer BTW - and yes, it is a cozy game.
It’s not perfect though. If you buy it right now it’s been highly-highly fixed up. It was a last gen (ps4 tier) game originally and had bugs and it’s been greatly upgraded of late.
The worst things about M.E. is that it’s a bit clunky & slow and THE FUCKING ACCENTS make you just want to rage quit because the whining drunk-vampire accents grate on your nerve endings like a matchbox on your bell end.
It’s okay though. I think there’s 2 DLC’s and I’ve only played 1 so i started a new play through a few weeks ago (I played it back in the day on PS4 now of course I have a PS5) but once I made it to the train my interest wained a bit and I’ve got a lot of other games on the boil too right now, mostly ones i played before as i quit gaming for about a year due to being fed up of being lied to by games reviewers (criminals who law enforcement have a duty to locked up for mass fraud in my opinion - the law today is applied so selectively we are becoming a global CCP - by design) and ripped off by woke garbage disguised as real games.
