I have a dvd of it and the extra features are interesting. The movie was independently produced by some of the people who made Troma shortly after, including Toxic Avenger director Lloyd Kaufmann who worked as lead Production Designer.
Also the team of pilots that did the plane stunts are fucking hilarious and they talk a lot of shit on how the air combat in Top Gun isn’t “realistic”.
