I don't know what the FUCK just happened but a giant military Osprey (pic related) just flew 6 feet above my house and almost crashed into the ground before slowly rising back into the air and scared the shit out of me. Seriously. Not a joke. Sometimes they pass through here but I don't know what kind of DEI training program they've got going on right now but this was not good. Literally happened 3 minutes ago.

And by "Sometimes they pass through here" I mean 0.5+ miles away far up in the sky. Not nearly crashing into the ground killing everyone.

Also why are they flying this thing around at 11pm at night? Isn't that unusual? This is all true but I can't prove it because it all happened in <20 seconds.

As opposed to a normal sized one?
Describe it OP, how big was it?
The size of an aircraft carrier?

Probably a combination of DEI and a vaccinated pilot idk. Remember the articles talking about how vaccinated commercial pilots were not flying as well as unvaxxed ones?

It did seem bigger than the one in that pic although its hard to tell. Seemed a little different. Maybe it wasn't specifically an Osprey. I don't know planes. But it had those two big ass propellers and was from the nearby military base.

I know what an osprey looks like...Thats not what I asked
You said you saw a giant one. How much larger than a regular osprey was it, for you to qualify it with the word giant?

Yes, they were eventually banned from use on US bases in Okinawa, because they kept crashing onto and killing the local population.

any chance you're in Upstate NY?
my roomate just said he saw/heard something flying really low and too fast and wide to be a helo(which we see from drum a lot) as we were putting the trash out, about 15 minutes ago.
After seeing your thread I had him listen to a clip of an Osprey and he said the sound was about right.

Could be a some spooky late night below the radar flight training. course doing it 100 feet above a densly populated valley seems a bit reckless.

Yes, if you land too fast the rotor wash will cause the aircraft to just fall out of the sky. So they become a giant target on landing. The MIC loves coming up with innovative ways to kill our own soldiers.

Check your homeowners insurance, gauranteed there's a "war clause" stating they're not responsible for damages done due to an act of war, and I'd be willing to bet a military training exercise would be written off as an act of war.
