the only other thing that could happen without you taking any action would be if the dept of ED submitted a borrower defense against repayment claim on your behalf, which they do for students who went to certain schools during certain time periods, such as the art institute schools. i know all about student loans and the programs available, and i cant think of any programs that match what you have described. good for you tho, the student loans are tough.
