>>507963181 (OP)Honestly this is completely retarded and I'm surprised nobody here has brought this up yet. NAFO shills are clapping and celebrating like its some fucking amazing achievement.
Here's the thing for those who don't know: Finland, like most Nordic countries has a long standing tradition called "every man's right". What this means is that one is free to roam the land, drink water, pick mushrooms, berries, basically whatever the nature provides, on any land. Including private land. So, one is not allowed to simply buy a forest, fence it off, and put a "trespassers will be shot" sign on it. You can cross fields, forests, lakes etc etc, unimpeded. That's a beautiful thing!
Now how would this work if we now have a case "hey watch out, can't go there, we had a trainign mine field a while back, cant guarantee we didnt forget anything", or "we were so scared of russians we mined with fuckton of land here, but then things have calmed down but hey, be careful, cant guarantee we didn't forget one!".
Do you get the big picture now?
