My friend caught a teenage girl burglarizing his home, and so he fought back and raped the girl in self defense. While the girl was arrested for burglary, he was arrested for rape even though it seemed to be a clear case of self defense. What can I do to help him? You can assault in self defense. You cannot rape in self defense. The point of self defense is that the force you use is necessary to stop the person from committing whatever crime they were going to commit. So let's say you throw a punch. The goal of doing this is either to knock the person out or get them to run the fuck away. Either way, they are no longer a threat to you or your property. Contrast with rape. If you forcibly rape someone, they are restrained, so they are unable to leave your house. Your objective is not to remove them from your house - which was the problem that required you to use self defense - but instead to use their body for your own self pleasure.

OPs situation is an obvious lie and he's probably a coomer but it's more profound than you retards are giving it credit for. Society agrees that rape is violence, however it doesn't agree that rape is theft, and it doesn't agree that it's a property crime (that would be demeaning to the whores). So if someone is doing a property crime, stealing, and puts you under threat of violence then it seems only appropriate to respond with violence. It seems dubiously appropriate to respond in kind with property damage and theft.

The inability for modern society to recognize rape as a property crime would solve this dilemma easily. But under the current logic of society's legal and moral system defensive rape is actually a credible response in this situation objectively. It's only because you recoil at any rape as morally reprehensible it doesn't seem appropriate.
