>Be modern atheist
>Think you’re the pinnacle of rational thought because you watch science YouTubers
>"I believe in facts and logic, not fairy tales!"
>Believe the entire universe came from literally NOTHING
>Not just matter, but space, time, energy, logic itself somehow "popped into existence"
>No cause, no will, no reason — just boom
Trust the science™
Let’s break this down.
1. Origin of the Universe
The Big Bang isn’t the origin of everything — it’s the origin of this universe as we know it.
But the question remains: why is there something rather than nothing?
Even if you posit a multiverse, string theory, etc., all of that still relies on pre-existing laws or conditions.
Where did those come from?
Physics can describe the how — it cannot answer the why.
2. Fine-tuning
Constants of the universe (gravity, cosmological constant, electromagnetic force) are set to such absurdly precise values that if you changed them even slightly, stars wouldn’t form, life wouldn’t be possible.
Fine-tuned to 1 in 10^120.
That’s not random. That’s deliberate. That’s design.
3. Consciousness
Explain qualia. Explain subjective experience.
We can’t even explain why we have thoughts or what "free will" really is.
Materialism has no explanation for how neurons produce the taste of chocolate or the color red.
Even top neuroscientists call consciousness "the hard problem" — because your little lab rats and electrodes can’t solve it.
Your soul is screaming that it exists, but you drown it in TikTok and SSRIs.
4. Universal moral law
Every human society has independently developed concepts of murder being wrong, lying being wrong, honor, justice, loyalty, etc.
Why?
If morality is just social convention or evolutionary instinct, then there's no reason why genocide, rape or betrayal are truly bad — just inconvenient to group survival.
And yet people feel guilt. Shame. Meaning.
You think that’s evolution? Or maybe it’s a trace of something higher calling you to be better?
fuck y'all nigga
