It's not even just plain hate, it's a visceral revulsion to their existence.

Every Millennial or GenZ adult I have talked to are avoidant at the mention of kids. Not just at the idea of having them but even when talking about the kids of friends or relatives, they just want to drop the subject quickly and abruptly.

Not to mention they act like any interaction with kids is negative because somehow just talking to a kid makes you a pedo or a suspicious person so they just act awkwardly around them when they are forced to do so.

Then theres the fact that they have this obsession with stuff meant for kids where it's common for them to say "Fuck kids, those toys/cartoons/videogames are meant for meeee!!!" and they just have a violent reaction to the mere idea that these things are made for kids.

What caused these 2 generations to revile kids so much?

You answered your own question. They have internalized and grown up in an era where there is mass internet hysteria about pedophilia. Part of that hysteria is justified since abuse is a genuinely terrible thing, but part of it is because (thanks to LGBTQ acceptance movements) it's the only thing that it's still socially acceptable to criticize, so everyone focuses all their negative attention on it and looks for opportunities to score virtue points by accusing someone else of being a pedo whether it makes any sense or not.

It's why there's never any focus on actually protecting children, because no one hands out updoots for that. It's why politicians can pass literally any legislation if they can frame it as "protecting the children" but don't lift a finger to stop paki rape gangs. It's like boomers who saw commies under every rock and behind every tree, but magnified because of social media's capacity to spread things like wildfire.

Everyone wants to look good, but no one actually cares, so they all overcompensate with antics like what you described. Some of them might even just be projecting.

You're more likely to hear a parent's complaints about problems they're having with their kid than the 99% of the time when everything is fine/good. And the stereotypical bratty child is more prevalent in media than kids just behaving normally because the latter would be boring. If that's your primary exposure to children you'll form a negative opinion of them.
And like Miyazaki's comments about anime made by otaku, this has a self reinforcing effect. Hating children has become a sort of performative meme. And then you add on top the moral panic around pedophilia you mentioned that makes people think that it's wrong to even be around kids.

I've been thinking about that too and I'm no classist but in a traditional or village community, everyone tends to come from the same wealth/social class, background or family unit so it was much easier to interact and form trust with them whereas with urbanisation you get the desegregation of social classes, so everyone from the super wealthy to the extremely poor are squeezed into this massive space now and in that state, it's just pure chaos. in my village 50km outside the city, people aren't equal in wealth or social class, but function well as neighbours. usually kids gather in some garden though, where there is a trampolin or a pool. i think the important thing is to know the people around and not have too many of them.

Millenial here.
I wanted kids and a family. Women wanted to "find themselves" and weren't intersted in marrying "young" or "too soon", delaying that shit until mid 30s.
My generation is pretty much entirely filled with women who bet their reproductive future on men waiting for them after they were done sleeping around. My only options are mentally ill zoomer women, or rewarding whores and making a whore the mother of my children. Sucks I won't have a family, but hell will freeze the fuck over before I tie myself to millenial women.

TLDR; millenial women thought guys they ignored for the fun part of life would be happy to be there for the boring, stable, expensive and hard work part of having kids.
