Why? Israel provided them some of the most open access to American military hardware.

China wouldn't take any active roles against Israel, but it definitely also wouldn't want Iran to collapse. The fact that Iran has been under massive sanctions has been a huge boom, since they can get Iranian petrol at rock-bottom prices.
