One thing they really don't prepare you for in childhood is just how mentally ill people are.
Almost everyone is at least some variant of mental illness or has one choking character flaw. Including me. And it doesn't even matter if you completely heal your own shit because you'll be dealing with the consequences of everyone elses' for your entire life.

It’s the external world that is shit. Of course you’d be depressed when jobs pay one third of what they used to in the good days. Of course you’ll have anxiety when they expect you to perform at a high level all the time.

We are human. Mental illness is largely a scam perpetrated by frauds called doctors and drug makers.

Out of all the things that bother me, this isn't one of them.

War is a normal part of existence. Obviously war is not good, but it happens.
