Elections in which everyone is allowed to vote was a mistake.

How much better would it be if there was a threshold for voting based on the amount of taxes you paid the 4 or 5 years prior to the election in question?

That way you could shift the attention of governors from welfare parasites to the working people who are actually sustaining the state.

Everyone having an equal say is just stupid.

All voting should be public so people know who to trust.

A basic knowledge test of country and global knowledge and basic logic would go a long way already.
Democracy was never meant to be "everyone gets to vote" from the start, because it's pretty obvious that's stupid.

That makes sense in principle but general culture or logical tests might be arbitrary in content which could potentially allow pretty much everyone to vote anyways. You could do a "hard" test and filter 20-30% of the voters which would be cool but there's also a scenario were politicians keep the tests easy on purpose, filtering almost nobody.
