it's not wages I refuse to do their jobs, most cashiers are women, for some reason society has decided that women give better customer service, plus cashier is less physically demanding then say stocking shelves.

I find that using cash in general scares the shit out of people simply because they don't know why you are doing it. So I always use cash but then I also get off on intimidating people. Hourly encourages you to stay clocked in and do as little work as possible. The funny thing about commission is that when people are really successful with it most companies get upset that their sales people are working too few hours and making too much money, so they restructure commission so it sucks, or cut it completely, and are then surprised when their best sales people leave and their revenue and profit drop. So the new norm is okay with you. It's not with me. This specifically started during covid when they took it out of law that a store must stay open during advertised times.
I walked out of a smaller store once, it was 15 minutes before closing, they immediately closed it and locked the doors 15 minutes early when I was out. When I was in my car I saw someone try to go in and they were locked out. This is bullshit. It's up to the customer to make sure they are out in time, that's the way it has always been. The dude had 15 minutes to get what he needed and couldn't. He went out of his way for nothing.
This is where I draw the line. Be out before closing as a customer. Do not lie about the time as an employee, and ESPECIALLY do not lock the doors early. It is a hard line in the sand, as soon as we get loosey goosey with it, it becomes a slippery slope.

There is a point in which it is reasonable, and there is a point in which it becomes unreasonable.
For the first pack of gum, I'd count the fucking pennies. For the second pack, I would as well. But when they are doing this with regularity, I can build a case that what they are doing is being performed with malicious intent and have them ejected from the establishment.
The reason shitsticks like this pull out pennies and such is only because they are looking to mix a few fakes in with the real ones, and to try and get the employee to fat-finger a few here and there and miss-count, saving even more.
They should have gone to the bank and exchanged the pennies like a normal human being. But no; it's a nigger, through and through.
