The Israeli government is passing laws prohibiting the coverage of what is going on by foreign news media and people will be arrested of they show any footage of missiles hitting Israel. Is Israel a lot worse off than they are putting on? If you listen to their media everything is great, they are intercepting every missile, and Iran is on the verge of losing.

From a defensive standpoint, it makes sense. Why would you want your opponent to see if their strikes are successful or not? Why would you want them to see precise locations of iron dome countermeasures? They should have made this law long ago. The only reason I can think of for them to delay this long is because footage like this can help drum up sympathy; but for many people of the world, the Israelis are beyond sympathy at this point. Seems like the right time to ban recordings.
