Pseudo-Jews are modern-day Jews. There are no actual blood Jews today. They went extinct with the Siege of Jerusalem. As a result, all Jewish distinctions are irrelevant. The only Jews that matter are those titled "Jew" who acknowledge Jesus as both Savior and King.

The reason why the Jews were special was only for Jehovah to fulfill his promise to Abraham and for the Messiah to be born through him. Once both promises were fulfilled the Jews as a special race were no longer needed anymore. They now had to join spiritual Israel which included gentiles who bowed to Jesus as both Savior and King.

There are lots of reasons to read it, even as an unbeliever. At the very least it'll probably make you even more disgusted with Christians, since hardly any of us are actually following what is taught in it. You'll also better understand and engage the world you live in, as it was shaped by Christian thought. Reading old books isn't for everyone, but if you can get past the archaic language and style, there's lots to be taken from it from as a form of literature and poetry.
