The collapse of western civilization is inevitable, because men are being sexually traumatized en masse. The economics of traumatizing an entire culture are not sustainable. The reason I say western men are being psychologically raped is because to men, NTR is equivalent to being raped.
1. It's a sexual experience
2. It's something you don't want
3. Since NTR can only happen if you're in a relationship, it is a violation of your sexual autonomy
4. Women who are raped by their partners often consider it a betrayal. Men whose partners cheat on them often consider it a betrayal.
5. There is an obvious loss of trust after the fact, and the victim will find it hard to feel secure around their partner.
