AIPAC's success was due to them staying out of the public eye while they quietly gave money to both political parties and smothered any real discussion of Israel. That's over. AIPAC has made itself a party issue by openly opposing progressives in the most expensive primaries in American history. This can only encourage debate about America's special relationship with Irael, and that is a debate the Zionist will lose.
