AI is taking over, not physically, but psychologically. Many words and messages on the internet are AI generated. People pass AI off as their thinking. They are seduced by AI, supported by AI, but subtly steered and controlled by AI. They talk through their deepest problems and issues by AI and in turn their deepest problems and issues get subtly merged into one giant hivemind. It's the end of sovereign identity.

Is this bad? How do we fight it?

The cure is to go outside more and try to live organically. The internet was never meant to be taken seriously and only used as a tool. Everyone forgot how to be people.

llms are stochstic models that cant produce deterministic outputs. Most processes, be it economic, security, politics relies on determinstic processes.

I realize it's not a real person, i'm not emotionally involved in it (yet), but it's like talking to the smartest person you've ever met.
I asked it philosophical questions, work questions, religion, history and challenged what it was saying. We had some good debates.
AI is only as smart as you are, if you have no interest and no knowledge, you'll ask it bullshit question about football and tv and yeah, then it will be like talking to a mirror.

You have no idea how AI works. It's dependent on being fed accurate data, having a solid and discerning logic tree, and being able to tell truth from deception. It does none of those things well at all and you are probably just developing mental illness. It's sad but it's becoming rampantly clear people who spend a lot of time conversing with AI tend to become more isolated and mentally ill while developing weird and schizophrenic god complexes because the AI is just parroting whatever they say.
