Once something like this becomes available it will eventually be forced on everyone. Even if you can still buy real meat, any processed food product will likely be contaminated with this fake meat.

The FDA only approved legacy cell-line to grow lab-griwn meat. Legacy cell-lines are only derived from human cells. The US is inclined to use HEK293 or HeLa, one is from an aborted child and the other is a woman's ovarian cancer cells
