Imagine living through the Iraq war, knowing that Israel and the Intel spooks lied about there being WMD's and thinking we'd never be stupid enough to fall for it again, and then 20 years later you elect a guy who was highly critical of the Iraq war, accused another of wanting to start a war with Iran to get reelected, says he wants to be the peace candidate, and he immediately believes the Israelis that there's WMD's in Iran even though the Intel spooks say there isn't, and we're gonna go to war there anyway even though Israel started the war and Iran hasn't even done anything to the United States.
There was never any hope of avoiding WWIII was there?
