Seed oils are harmless in small quantities.
But US food has them in literally everything and the amounts are exceeding harmless levels. There are three main "fats" that the body uses. Seed oil only contains the worst one. Hope that helps.

It's good stuff although it recently went up in price. It used to be $9.99 but it was raised to $11.99 a box, still cheaper than kerrygold though.

I've pretty much even phased out EVOO, I'll buy the good quality imported stuff for a few recipes. All my cooking is butter and lard. It's crazy how much cleaner everything taste with good quality pork lard.

I picked up some beef tallow from Costco for my 36" Blackstone griddle, but I'll spray it down with a coat of canola to keep it from rusting after use, and I'll coat my corn on the cob in canola cause it just makes sense

Seed oils are mostly polyunsaturated fats, with some monounsaturated and a small amount of saturated fats. Polyunsaturated fats are very prone to oxidation and the means by which they're extracted is questionable regarding health and safety concerns.

Ditch the seed oils (better yet, use them for lubricants or biodiesel), and get whatever fats you can from animal sources (far less prone to oxidation because saturated fats). If you can't, then the next best option would be olive, avocado, or coconut oils (cold pressed).

People cooked their beef in tallow (and fries in tallow) back when they were skinny.
People cook their beef in seed oil now that they're fat.
A lot of people made the switch and report a general health improvement and some weight loss.
Win win.
We're not made to process or digest seed oils the way that herbivores can.
Tallow is monosaturated (or mono-unsaturated) fat from animal sources with very easily digestible fat compounds.
They're also not toxic to us.

For me? It's unrefined coconut oil or avocado oil. I'd fuck around with beef tallow but it's super expensive in my area. Like 15-20$ for 8 oz. Ain't paying that. I'll check out some other stores sometime but I'm stocked up currently (prepper).
