Is Christianity the true religion of peace?
Look at all Christian countries war history in the past few centuries.

It was never some invisible god pulling the levers of tyranny—it was men with Bibles in their fists and blood in their eyes. Every empire baptized its violence, every execution was sanctified, every chain forged in the name of "divine order." It wasn’t God burning libraries, flattening cultures, silencing thinkers—it was Christians, foaming at the mouth to stamp their creed across every inch of the world. They didn’t spread light. They suffocated it. The tyranny didn’t descend from the sky—it came from the pulpit, cloaked in moral superiority and backed by the sword.

These weren’t lost sheep—they were jackals dressed as saints. They weaponized grace into guilt, turned love into leverage, and sold salvation like heroin. Generations were crushed under their spiritual regime, told their instincts were sinful, their thoughts dangerous, their lives disposable unless filtered through the rotting doctrine of men who claimed to speak for heaven. The real tyrant wasn’t some cosmic father—it was the horde of zealots who took his name, stamped it on flags, and used it to erase everything that didn’t kneel.

Military is full of pastors for the troops. It is a Christian country. Christian country doesn't have to mean a theocracy.

History shows that religion has often condoned, justified, or even promoted war while pretending to work for peace. For decades, Jehovah’s Witnesses have exposed such religious hypocrisy.

What Jesus taught: “You must love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:39) “Continue to love your enemies.”—Matthew 5:44-47.

Consider: Can a religion claim to obey Jesus’ commands about love and at the same time encourage its adherents to kill others in war?

What Jesus said: “My Kingdom is no part of this world. If my Kingdom were part of this world, my attendants would have fought that I should not be handed over.” (John 18:36) “All those who take up the sword will perish by the sword.”—Matthew 26:47-52.

Consider: If Christians were not to fight even to protect Jesus, should they take up arms for any other reason?

Jehovah’s Witnesses obey Jesus’ commands to remain politically neutral and to avoid warfare. For this reason, we do not participate in or support this conflict or any other. Because of our determination to stick to our Bible-based beliefs, some Witnesses are being persecuted. (John 15:19, 20; 2 Timothy 3:12)

Matthew 10:34 – "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword."
