Nah, when he died the Dems praised him and treated him like some kind of god that they've always worshipped and used him as means to piss on Trump all of the time and frequently compare him to. They would bring him up at random all of the time too. Thing is, Dems fucking HATED McCain for the longest time back then, even calling him a Nazi and that he would bring about the end of the US, pretty much the same stuff they say about Trump.

Suddenly, once he became a critic of Trump's, they revered him all of a sudden. I remember I used to see him being brought up at random all of the time during the last few years of Trump's first term and early in Biden's years. Then they just stopped talking about him.
