They've been trying to kill Trump since his first term with those assassination plots. So it goes, lukewarm conflict and retaliation. This one seems decisive at least and not symbolic retaliations and posturing, keeping them from being a nuclear power is important to just about everyone in the west. Or to any unaligned power. Less people engaged in the forever nuclear standoff the better.
I genuinely don't recall the public consciousness then, moreso here than elsewhere, is calling it war. Don't know why the /pol/ is choosing to do so now of all times either. By that definition we've been at war for much longer. Seems arbitrary to decide now. Not rational.
